Project Story
Recently on Instagram, I found this homeowner chronicling his remodeling project. I reached out to him and discovered he was currently getting estimates to refinish the hardwood floors in his 1950s home and had pretty much decided who he planned to hire. However, he said if we could have someone out to quote him within the next few days, he would reconsider. We moved quickly and provided an estimate within a week of measuring. The homeowner was impressed with our swiftness and the quote, and the job was ours! We restored the wood floors to their natural beauty and we installed new hardwood in the kitchen to match!
Project Scope
We did a dustless, complete strip-down of the outdated stain on the wood floors throughout the home. This included all three bedrooms, the hallway, and the living room. We then installed a new red oak wood floor in the kitchen to match the existing hardwood in the rest of the home. Goodbye old sheet vinyl! The whole house now has a gleaming natural finish. We finished all transitions, and trim to match. Finally, we carpeted the staircase with high-end Mohawk patterned carpet (not pictured).
